Cara mengindentifikasikan plastik
Ada 2 Metode mengenal jenis plastik.
1. membakar dan mencium jenis bau plastik
2. Bahan kimia sebagai pelarut/solvent
Penjelasan Metode 1:
- kondisi api biru (murni), kuning (pigmen), kuning dan api loncat (kalsium), kuning hijau (FR - fire resistence)
- serat plastik: semakin panjang seratnya, semakin bagus qualitasnya. Dan serat bercabang berarti telah di recycle lebih dari 1x atau kalsium tinggi.
- kondisi asal: putih (nylon, polyolefin dll) dan hitam (abs, hips, dll)
- Bau: silakan mencoba mencium baunya satu per satu
Penjelasan Metode 2:
1. ABS: acetone
2. HIPS dan GPPS: Bensin, dioxane
3. PMMA dan PC: ethylene dichloride, methylene chloride
4. Nylon/PA: aqueous phenol, formic acid
5. PPO: chloroform, toluene
6. PVC: acetone, methyl ethyl ketone
